Hello Monday ♥️ I hope the weekend was wonder

Hello Monday ♥️ I hope the weekend was wonderful and those celebrating Mother's Day had a truly special one. Capturing motherhood is the key to my photography. The true, authentic, messy, perfect moments being a Mum. Real connection with your favourite people is my jam. This shot from a recent session I adore 🥰 For me, I had some pure garden therapy this weekend. What a JOY it is having a garden after a looooonnggggg time without. Ours is a total wild mess and I adore it. We have three cherry blossom trees 🌸 Looking forward to more sunny days outside trying to figure out how to garden.

The kitchen. The heart of the home. Where your day starts. Bowls of porridge, cups of coffee, the rush to get out on time, lazy weekend mornings. It's breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. And snacks (all of the snacks!) A witness to the many conversations, the jokes, the laughter, the daily updates. It's the calm of quiet evenings, the washing up, clearing up, lights off, turning in.

Poll time 🙌 I wanna hear the truth.. When did you last print a picture? Lemme know below ⬇️ I'll start - I last printed some pictures of the boys when Jesse was maybeeee about 3 or 4 months old. He's just turned one. So it's been a while (but not terribly long). I am also in the middle of creating a family album of our time in India 🇮🇳♥️ PRINT YOUR PICTURES. Kids are fascinated and love seeing themselves and their family printed out in beautiful, tangible prints. Beats the screen 100% of the time. Plus it's a big, ol' boost to their self worth. Stuck where to print? I am happy to offer advice on print labs I recommend. Had a shoot with me? I can still (probably 🤞) print your pictures from the brilliant photolab I use (sorry just for photographers!) If you invest in a family shoot then don't let the final products just be digitals please 🙏 whether I do it or you do it: print those family pictures!

When you're asked to do a family shoot with a grown up family and it is pure perfection 👏 Just your regular reminder that family shoot are for ALL families! Big or small. Any ages. Any home. It's just about capturing something from this time, right now, that you can treasure forever. Also, a big, bright kitchen full of art - thank you very much!
